Gruyère Biscuits

Crunchy, snappy, intensely tasty!. Effie's Homemade grab my attention! They invite me to slow down and savor the flavor. They are my new very favorite biscuits: Ginger biscuits with a cup of tea, gruyere biscuits with a glass of wine or cider, oh my! Eager to try all your flavors!

I bought a box of these during a recent vacation in Cape Cod and shared them with family, and we all were instatnly obsessed with "the cheese cookies" and their savory, peppery sweetness. So I ordered three casse and sent them to friends and family, and now I'm the popular one in the group.

What a wonderful flavor in this new biscuit! The gruyere cheese is perfect and the pepper at the end a nice surprise.

Kinda expensive.

Love these biscuits! I was especially surprised to have that tiny bite of black pepper at the finish. I have found many applications for this variety, and they"ve only been around for about a month or so.
